Marking a defining moment in the global mobility landscape, Hero MotoCorp launched the next chapter of sustainable and electric mobility under its VIDA brand, along with internal combustion engine (ICE) models designed, conceptualized and developed by Hero MotoCorp’s R&D centers in India and Germany. VIDA 2026 range in detail
VIDA, the plug-in subsidiary of Hero MotoCorp, introduces a new era of mobility “human-centered, intelligent and sustainable”. Within this range we find the VIDA Novus line, with three proposals initially. As defined by the brand itself, we are faced with “a transformative leap in the redefinition of sustainable, intelligent and connected mobility, driven by the brand philosophy: Life is movement.”:
- NEX 1: A new archetype of mobility: portable, personal and designed to move with you, not just transport you.
- NEX 2: A compact, self-balancing electric tricycle that combines the excitement of a motorcycle with the stability of three wheels for urban practicality.
- NEX 3: A stylish all-weather personal electric vehicle that offers four-wheeled safety and comfort in a versatile and sophisticated form, ideal for urban and rural travel.
On the other hand, building on its success in India, VIDA announced the European launch of the urban scooter LIFE VX2. Designed to combine the practicality of a traditional scooter with cutting-edge electric vehicle technology, the VIDA VX2 offers a range of 125 km according to WMTC.
The brand claims a top speed of 90 km/h, twin removable batteries with an IP67 rating, and an IP68-rated PMSM transmission system. Additionally, VIDA takes a new step in its global electrification journey with the introduction of two electric motorcycle concepts.
VIDA Concept Ubex
VIDA’s first global electric motorcycle, the Ubexis a neo-naked urban explorer that combines futuristic design with multi-terrain capability. Built on a modular platform with advanced smart connectivity, the Ubex offers driving comfort and versatility.
VIDA Project VxZ
Developed in collaboration with Zero Motorcycles, the VxZ Project marks an important milestone in global electrification. This innovative electric motorcycle platform strengthens the partnership between Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest motorcycle and scooter manufacturer, and Zero Motorcycles, a leader in high-performance electric motorcycles. Together, this alliance accelerates the transformation of the global two-wheeled motorcycle landscape.
VIDA DIRT.E Series: Hero MotoCorp also bets on electric Offroad
The VIDA DIRT.E series is presented as a new line of off-road electric motorcycles designed for those who “Ride Beyond the Wild”. In this range we initially find two models:
- E K3: The first electric motorcycle of its kind for children between 4 and 10 years old, featuring three adjustable sizes. Awarded the prestigious Red Dot Design Concept Award 2025, the DIRT.E K3 will debut in Europe and India. The reservation period is now open.
- E MX7 Racing Concept: The DIRT.E MX7 Racing Concept is a high-performance and agile off-road electric motorcycle. The MX7 combines cutting-edge electric technology with Hero’s Dakar rally engineering expertise.
Hero MotoCorp also announces two new features
Hero MotoCorp introduced two internal combustion engine (ICE) models – the Hunk 440 SX and the XPulse 210 Dakar Edition, designed with direct input from the Hero MotoSports Team Rally team. Both models are designed for global markets and meet Euro5+ emission standards.
XPulse 210 Dakar Edition
In celebration of its 2024 FIM World Title and recent Dakar podium, Hero MotoCorp unveiled the XPulse 210 Dakar Edition. This comes powered by a liquid-cooled 210cc Euro5+ DOHC engine. It is also equipped with fully adjustable suspensions and 280 mm of travel, while the ground clearance extends to 270 mm.
Hunk 440 SX
The Hunk 440 SX is presented as a modern scrambler, created for those who live to explore both city streets and the wildest trails. Powered by a long-stroke, oil-cooled 440cc Euro5+ engine, the Hunk 440 SX is equipped with Ride-by-Wire technology, offering multiple riding modes and disengageable ABS with traction control for added safety and control in all conditions.
Its rugged design is supported by a heavy-duty perimeter frame, a tall 18-inch front wheel, long-travel suspension, and high ground clearance.
