In the mechanical section we find the engine that was recently released by its range sister, the new generation 390 Duke. Not only is it lighter and more powerful than the previous generation, but it also provides regulatory compatibility EURO 5+ becoming a very attractive option for the current A2 license.

Cycle part of the KTM 390 Adventure R 2025
One of the most significant aspects that the KTM 390 Adventure R 2025 will present will be its cycle part fully adapted to the new tasks entrusted to the model. To achieve this, the Austrian brand makes use of a new 2-piece chassis design – composed of a completely new multi-tubular steel main chassis and a die-cast aluminum subframe – improving dynamic behavior by increasing torsional rigidity.
A team of Fully adjustable WP Xplor Pro suspension with 230 mm of travel on both axles. Braking is made up of two discs, one per axle, 320 mm and 240 mm, actuated by a 4-piston radial caliper at the front, while at the rear the brand uses a single-piston caliper.
The equipment is anchored to a set of 21 and 18 inch radial type wheels, front and rear respectively. These will be shod with Offroad cut tires. Among the standard equipment that the new 390 Adventure R will offer, the arrival of an element never seen before in the category stands out without a doubt, cruise control. It is not clear if KTM will offer this technology as standard, or it will become one of the options presented by the KTM 390 Adventure R ahead of its official launch.
Other notable components in this section are, for example, a 5-inch H50 TFT screen, the different driving modes already mentioned or an ABS system with the possibility of being disconnected during Offroad driving. Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation or control of calls and music from the frame are also expected to be part of the model’s standard equipment.
