KTM takes a leap in the evolution of KTM 790 Adventure thanks to a series of improvements applied to the previous generation, creating a more stable and refined motorcycle. Among the most notable new features were the renewed throttle bodies, which offer cleaner and more efficient power. In addition, the incorporation of a knock control sensor allows the motorcycle to operate without problems even with lower octane gasoline, expanding its versatility in different conditions.
We also found an effective updated Power Assist slipper clutch, with new driving discs that improved its durability and performance. For its part, a redesigned air filter box guarantees better air circulation, maximizing engine efficiency and improving response throughout the rev range.
The new KTM It comes equipped with the parallel twin-cylinder engine LC8c. This propellant develops 94 hp at 8,000 rpm, which makes it compatible with the limitation for the A2 license, and delivers a maximum torque of 88 Nm at 6,500 rpm. The latest generation exhaust system with catalyst and pre-muffler is not missing, along with a Quickshifter+ for faster and smoother gear changes.

The KTM 790 Adventure It keeps its cycle part intact with respect to the previous version. It continues to use the multi-tubular chromemolybdenum steel chassis, where the engine acts as a self-supporting element.
The braking system includes a double 320 mm front disc with four-piston radial calipers, complemented by a floating rear disc with two-piston caliper. The 21” front and 18” rear spoked wheels are equipped with pneumatic tires. Pirelli Scorpion STR, improving grip both on road and offroad terrain.
By 2025, suspensions of KTM 790 Adventure have been significantly improved, incorporating high-performance components such as the front fork W.P. APEX 43mm adjustable open cartridge and rear shock WP APEXboth coming from the KTM 890 ADVENTURE.
In the case of the fork, split function technology separates compression and rebound damping between the two legs, allowing for independent adjustments. Thanks to the regulators located on the top of each bottle, the rider can precisely adjust the settings according to need, whether carrying a passenger or tackling more demanding offroad terrain.
For its part, the shock absorber WP APEX Adjustable offers 200mm suspension travel and includes an adjuster for rebound damping and a manual adjuster for spring preload. These features make adaptation to different driving conditions quick and easy, optimizing performance in all types of situations.

The KTM 790 Adventure 2025 incorporates important electronic advances, highlighting a 6-axis inertial IMU, similar to that used in the 890 Adventure and the 1290 Super Adventure. This system manages key functions such as riding modes, traction control, engine braking and ABS.
The ABS, improved with the technologies of the 890 Adventure, is automatically synchronized with the riding modes, activating the Off-Road ABS when selecting the Off-Road or Rally modes (the latter optional). In addition, it includes the Demo function, which allows you to test all the available electronic options during the first 1,500 km before deciding which ones to activate.
In the aesthetic section, the 790 Adventure adopts the fluid, robust design and receives just the right updates. It includes its characteristic headlight mask that integrates the fairing seamlessly, along with a large windshield that improves aerodynamic protection. Behind this, there is a 5” TFT screen, with intuitive menus and simplified graphics.
This screen also allows connectivity with the KTMConnect app, offering various functions accessible from the smartphone. All lighting is full LED, guaranteeing maximum visibility and modernity in its design.

The new 2025 KTM 790 Adventure will be available at official KTM dealers shortly and its final price has not yet been revealed. But, it will not clash too much with the 11,799 euros that the previous generation was worth.
