The Spanish brand Neutra, based in Molins de Rei, presents its first model of children’s electric motorcycle: the Neutral K3. This new model marks Neutra’s entry into the motorcycle market, under the manufacturing seal “Made in Barcelona”. Since its creation, the brand has been committed to innovation and the development of electric motorcycles. Therefore, the Neutra K3 is not just a motorcycle, but the result of a meticulous design process in which each component has been designed and manufactured specifically for trials. Starting with the cycle part, with a precise focus on lightness, resistance and agility, essential characteristics for the practice of trial. The most notable elements are:
- Chassis and swingarm: The ergonomic chassis and the in-house designed swingarm, both made of aluminum, provide exceptional rigidity, which contributes to the total weight of the motorcycle being only 33kg. This combination allows young pilots to enjoy superior maneuverability and greater durability under intensive use conditions.
- Suspensions: The K3 is equipped with a suspension system that includes a lightweight double-platen aluminum front fork and 32 mm stanchions that allows compression, air and rebound adjustments. This system adapts to different rider weights using a personalized pressure table. The DNM rear suspension, with 90 mm of travel and spring and rebound adjustment, also guarantees precise response on all types of terrain and obstacles.
- Wheels and brakes: The 20-inch wheels mount specific trial tires (2.5×20″ front and 3×20″ rear), with 2.3 mm reinforced spokes, ensuring low maintenance and high resistance, for practice of the trials. The hydraulic braking system on both wheels includes 160 mm discs at the front and 140 mm at the rear, providing a progressive and precise feel, with levers adjustable to the dimensions of the little ones’ hands.
At the propulsion level, the new Neutra K3 stands out for its carefully designed drive unit, which provides a perfect balance between power and smoothness. To do this, equip a 2.8 kW power motor: Developed internally by the brand itself, this 48V/2800W/3,300RPM motor It is the most powerful in its segment, ensuring high torque and a progressive response at low revolutions, ideal for trial riding.
The waterproof electrical installation allows safe and efficient operation in humid and muddy environments, ensuring the durability and optimal performance of the motorcycle. On the other hand, the latest generation removable lithium-ion battery weighs only 4.6 kg and offers up to 4 hours of autonomy continues at maximum performance. Can be fully charged in 2 hours and 15 minutes with the standard 5A charger. For those who need faster charging, an optional 10A charger is available, which cuts charging time in half.
The bike has five power maps tuned by professional riders for different technical and skill levels. From the ECO mode for beginners, through the LOW and MED intermediate levels, the latter ideal for trials, to the HIGH and MAX modes for expert pilots looking for maximum performance.
If we talk about ergonomics and handling, precise control and driving posture are fundamental to the pilots’ experience. The cable throttle grip, adjustable and easy to replace, is distinguished by its softness and touch, offering a progressive response without the high cost of electronic systems. The Neutra K3 incorporates grips and footpegs from S3 Parts, known for their quality and specific performance for trials, improving the rider’s grip and stability.
In addition, it includes a reinforced, large-surface, flat crankcase cover, designed to protect the lower part of the engine from impacts and damage, and also to act as a slider when overcoming obstacles in technical trial areas. The fenders, made of flexible polypropylene, guarantee greater protection, durability and resistance to impacts and abrasions. Finally, the brake disc protectors are made of flexible plastic ensuring their strength.
