KYMCO presented just a few days ago its new Sky Town 125 2024the city-oriented scooter that outperforms the brand’s best-seller and has led the ranking of two-wheeled vehicles in all market categories for several years. It improves in response and sustainability, and is more agile, lighter, compact and stable.
In addition, it is the first motorcycle on the market that neutralizes the carbon footprint resulting from the Red Sea conflict. This is thanks to the reduction in emissions achieved by the brand, offering us an efficient engine in any circumstance that can travel up to 280 kilometers with a single tank.

In the mechanical section, the KYMCO Sky Town 125 2024 is equipped with a single-cylinder air-cooled engine and powered by an electronic injection system. The brand declares a maximum power of 11 HP at 8,500 rpmwhile the total torque figure, 10.6 Nm, reaches 6,500 rpm. All this with an approved consumption of 2.5 liters per 100 km.
In terms of emissions, these are far from the permitted limits of the Euro 5 + regulations that will be mandatory for all new motorcycles in 2025 (Nitrogen Oxide levels are at 36% of what is permitted; Hydrocarbons emit half of what is required; and Carbon Monoxide emits only 17.3%). KYMCO announces a maximum range of 280 km.

The smoothness of the start is remarkable and is directly linked to the new chassis, which, in addition to being 20% more rigid, has a new engine mount that offers great stability and control. The suspensions have a conventional fork at the front and a pair of lateral shock absorbers at the rear.
Braking is provided by 220mm and 200mm discs, front and rear respectively, combined with a dual-channel ABS system by Bosch. The equipment is anchored to rims and tyres with measurements 110/70-14 and 130/70-13. Other notable dimensions include its maximum approved weight of 126 kg, or a wheelbase of just 1,320 mm. The seat is positioned 770 mm from the ground.

Engine, chassis, design, measurements… It is a totally new vehicle in the KYMCO range: of the 427 elements that make up the Sky Town 125 2024, only 61 of them are already used in other KYMCO models and are mainly screws and small material.
The 2024 Sky Town 125 has a storage box under the seat with capacity for a full-face helmet, but also comes standard with the original KYMCO trunk in the same color as the motorcycle, with capacity to store another full-face or modular helmet.
It has other interesting elements that increase comfort on urban journeys, such as a double USB socket, double glove compartment, or a complete high-contrast LCD screen that will keep us informed of the status of the vehicle at all times.
