Cyclone continues to reveal all its new features for the next season, including this one RC 600 which we have recently learned about thanks to our colleagues at Motorrad Online. A bike that stands out especially for the design of its front part, equipped with two side spoilers with dimensions that are, to say the least, questionable. Basically, because the point of these elements in a bike that claims barely 60 HP of power is not understood.
Beyond personal appreciations, and focusing on the model itself, Cyclone has unveiled this RC 600 under the color scheme “Yellow Speed Demon”a name inspired by a racing car from the beginning of the last century. In addition, it does so by announcing a special launch edition called Centennial Legend Editionwhich seem to be marketed only 100 units.
Cyclone RC 600 2025: Aerodynamics worthy of MotoGP
We have talked about the front spoilers that dominate the front of the RC 600, but it is also worth highlighting the side air intakes that shape its fairings. Again, one wonders the point of so much paraphernalia on a bike that barely claims 60 HP of power. Specifically, 59 hp at 8,500 rpm, together with a maximum torque of 55 Nm at 6,500 rpm. The Cyclone claims a top speed of 180 km/h.
These are the official figures approved by its water-cooled in-line twin-cylinder engine of approximately 550 cc. This is associated with a six-speed gearbox equipped with an anti-rebound clutch system. The set is completed with a chassis equipped with a steel frame, inverted front fork and rear monoshock. Braking is carried out by two brake discs, one per axle, assisted by a dual-channel ABS system.
The 17” alloy wheels are shod with tyres in size 120/70 ZR 17 at the front and 160/60 ZR 17 at the rear. The RC 600 claims a final dry weight of 186 kilograms to which we should add the 15 liters of fuel that we can hold in its tank. With a wheelbase of 1,430 mmthe seat is located about 790 mm from the ground, making this RC 600 a motorcycle suitable for riders of almost any size.
Finally, referring to the standard equipment that this RC 600 will offer as standard, Cyclone announces that it will have Full-LED lighting, a TFT dashboard or a USB socket, among others. The base price with which it will be sold in China starts at 28,888 yuan, approximately 3,700 euros at the exchange rate.
There are only two questions left to be answered: whether the model will finally be available in Europe and, if so, at what price. Also, whether the production version of this RC 600 will also be equipped with the huge front spoilers… We’ll see.
