more screen, same three-cylinder soul and a nod to the past

Yamaha does not want surprises for next season with models as emblematic as the Yamaha XSR900 2025. That is why the Japanese firm has visually and technically renovated its well-known frame, in order to keep it fully current within the competitive category in which it competes.

Although the main outline of the model remains unchanged, we now find some subtle changes that make it even more attractive and competitive.

Yamaha XSR900 2025: “Red Legend”

One of the main changes that are obvious in the new Yamaha XSR900 2025 It is on the visual plane, including the Legend Red livery for next seasonwith which it takes us back de facto to epic moments of the brand in the world of competition. To do this, it uses the colors red, white and gold along with some black details. A color scheme with a vintage feel that gives an aesthetic plus to the renewed Japanese naked.

On the other hand, the 2025 Yamaha XSR900 debuts a 5” TFT instrument screenreplacing the current 3.5 inch. Also The well-known CP3 three-cylinder, 889 cc, is adapted to the current Euro5+ regulations in anti-pollution matters, without presenting variations in terms of performance. This translates into a final power of 119 HP at 10,000 rpm and 93 Nm of maximum torque at 7,000 revolutions.

The rest of the 2025 Yamaha XSR900 assembly remains unchanged, both in terms of chassis and equipment. The suspension relies on an adjustable KYB fork with 39 mm bars, while the rear monoshock, also KYB, is adjustable in preload and rebound. The brakes have two 298 mm front discs and a 245 mm rear disc, clamped by Advics radial calipers. The Brembo radial front brake pump (adjustable) guarantees feel and power.

The seat is at 810 mm and we have a curb weight of 193 kilograms. The set rests on tires measuring 120/70 ZR17 and 180/55 ZR17, front and rear respectively. All this seasoned with a base equipment where we find Full-LED lighting, A&S slipper clutch, or a dual-channel ABS system.

For now, the brand has not revealed the official price of the new Yamaha XSR900 2025, available in the aforementioned Legend Red or the well-known Midnight Black with gold rims.
