The Porsche Taycan range is really wide. The Stuttgart electric car has versions ranging from 408 to 1,034 HP, so there is a lot of room to make variants for all tastes. For those who want sportsmanship without reaching radicality (and price) of the Turbo S, you are in luck. It is now available Porsche Taycan GTS 2024a model that maintains the “Gran Turismo Sport” heritage and is postulated as a truly usable intermediate level, improved in all its aspects.
Compared to its predecessor, it gains more than 100 HP and also another hundred kilometers of autonomy thanks to the changes made with the model update. In short, the new Taycan GTS reaches 700 hp with Launch Control, thanks to new features such as the function push-to-pass of the Sport Chrono package (comes standard on the GTS). This allows them to deliver 95 extra HP for 10 seconds to ensure the best acceleration. Needless to say, this variant is all-wheel drive and its numbers are scary.
The Porsche Taycan GTS is capable of accelerating 0 to 100 km/h in 3.3 secondswhich is almost half a second faster than its predecessor. 0 to 200 km/h is done in 10.4 seconds (1.6 seconds faster) and the autonomy now reaches 628 kilometersa difference of more than 120 kilometers. They are very substantial improvements that make this specimen more capable. In addition, it has a sound profile more similar to that of the Taycan Turbo S and some new aesthetic features to distinguish it from the rest of the range.
The details are maintained in black or Anthracite gray, with bumpers that have inserts painted in black and mirrors in the same color. As standard it has the 20-inch Aero Design wheels (from the Turbo S) and can optionally mount the 21-inch RS Spyder Design. The cabin has materials taken from the Taycan Turbo GT, with leather and Race-Tex upholstery. The seats are the adaptive sports Plus, the GT multifunction steering wheel and there are several interior packages available.
The Porsche Taycan GTS is available in both bodies of the model. Orders are now being accepted for this version, which will reach dealerships in early 2025. The price starts at 153,589 euros for the Taycan GTS sedan and from 154,599 euros for the GTS Sport Turismo.
