Royal Enfield announces the arrival of a Scram 440 by 2025

Royal Enfield keeps its foot fully on the accelerator of new developments for next year. Rumors come from India about a Scram 440 new, after the launch of the new Guerrilla 450 or the Classic 650. This would replace the current model, the Scram 411, implementing some relevant changes that would improve its performance level. However, everything indicates that most of the set remains unchanged.

As we have learned from the colleagues at Bike Wale, Royal would be finalizing details on its future Scram 440. This version would not be related to the Scram 450 that we have already told you about previously. Perhaps both versions will even coexist in depending on which markets. In reference to this Scram 440 we would be facing a restyling of the current model.

Royal Enfield Scram 440: Best features and equipment

Apparently, Royal Enfield is committed to increasing the displacement of its current Scram 411 to 443 cc. The engine LS443 (as known in the internal code), will offer more efficient features than those approved by the current version. Let us remember that the Scram 411 is equipped with a 411 cc single-cylinder engine, air-cooled and fed by an injection system, associated with a 5-speed transmission inherited directly from the Himalayan of the previous generation.

In terms of power it manages to develop 24.3 HP at 6,500 rpm, with the declared maximum torque figure being 32 Nm at 4,500 rpm. The approved average consumption is approximately 3.18 l/100. With these data on the table, it is assumed that the Scram 440 increases the power above 25 hp and perhaps the final maximum torque figure. But above all this, it manages to offer optimized performance in any rotation range compared to the Scram 411.

Other improvements that will reach the model with the arrival of the Scram 440 would be related to its finishes and standard equipment. Regarding the first, new color schemes and graphics are expected. There could also be the possibility of including a TFT dashboard similar to the one used by the new generation Himalayan, although that would not yet be confirmed.

The Indian media suggest that the new Scram 440 will have a starting price of about 2,350 euros to changea rate almost identical to that currently offered by Scram 411.
