Engine of the Royal Enfield Classic 650 2025
The mechanics used by this Classic 650 are already classic (pardon the redundancy) within the two-wheeled sector. We are talking, of course, about the 648 cc SOHC parallel twin, which for the occasion declares a maximum power of 46 HP at 7,250 rpm and a final torque of around 52.3 Nm at 5,650 rpm.
The engine is associated with a 6-speed gearbox and has, among other technical features, electronic fuel injection, 8-valve cylinder head, electronic ignition and electric start. The brand declares an average consumption of 4.66 l/100 kmwhich together with its 14.8 liter tank offers us ranges of over 300 kilometers.

For this section, the Indo-British brand uses a tubular steel chassis and swingarm. The suspension is based on a 43 mm telescopic fork and a pair of lateral shock absorbers, with 120 and 90 mm of travel respectively. The braking system uses two disc brakes, one per axle. 320 mm at the front and 300 mm at the rear axle, in both cases powered by double-piston calipers. The assembly is anchored on a pair of radial wheels shod with tires measuring 100/90-19 and 140/70 R18.
With a curb weight of 243 kilograms, the new Classic 650 is presented as a very manageable and intuitive motorcycle thanks to a seat placed just 800 mm from the ground. The wheelbase reaches 1,475 mm, while the final dimensions in terms of length, width and maximum height stretch to 2,318 mm x 892 mm x 1,137 mm.
Equipment and finishes of the Royal Enfield Classic 650 2025
The new Classic 650 reflects the familiar and characteristic elements of its predecessors. This naturally retains the iconic “frame loop” that links it to models of the past, from the OG Classic to the Thunderbird, as well as the more recent Super Meteor and Shotgun… but that’s where the similarities end.
Highlights include a fuel tank with an attractive silhouette, round vintage-style headlights and elegantly curved fenders, all features of the Classic legacy. The new, more modern, wide tires complement the capabilities of the motorcycle, whose more voluminous shapes give it a presence in line with the larger engine displacement.
The two-seater seat is included as standard, with the possibility of removing the passenger seat and the luggage rack using a simple screw mechanism. The 2025 Classic 650 retains the characteristic style of post-war British motorcycles with the polished aluminum and bright chrome finish of the headlight and front indicators, accentuating its visual harmony with the lines that flow from front to rear.
The motorcycle features the iconic teardrop-shaped fuel tank and the signature Royal Enfield casing that houses an LED headlamp along with the well-known projector lamps, a feature that has endured on Royal Enfield motorcycles since 1954. The position of Ergonomic driving, the perfectly positioned handlebars and the wide, soft seat allow the driver to take on any long trip in total comfort.
The clean-design dashboard features a digital LCD display with odometer, tripmeter, fuel gauge, maintenance reminder, gear indicator and clock so the driver has all the information and can focus on enjoying the ride. Additionally, the motorcycle will be accompanied by an offer of original accessories for motorcycles inspired by the Classic and Classic Tourer, with which riders will be able to personalize their motorcycle to their liking.
