Silence, ACCIONA’s electric vehicle brand, has presented at the Milan International Show (EICMA) what becomes its first motorcycle, the S05 Weekender. Designed for everyday urban use, it is capable of tackling metropolitan routes at a good pace.
Along with it, the brand has also unveiled two other great novelties: its new scooter S02 (Model Year 2025), more robust, lighter and more maneuverable, and a prototype of a third motorcycle in the grand touring category, the GT-SX Prototypewhich will have more autonomy and power for intercity trips.
S05 Weekender: Silence begins a new era
The S05 Weekender is designed for weekend mobility and daily urban trips, providing a solution to the demand for a new electric mobility in silent mode. Although it is not an all-terrain motorcycle, it is suitable for recreational use, since its design allows it to travel off-road. Its sale price will start from €3,500.
The brand declares a maximum speed of 120km/h with a approved autonomy of 133 kilometers and only 94 kilograms of weight without battery. It has ABS brakes and a seven-inch touch screen. In addition, it includes a large storage compartment under the false tank for a helmet. There is also a basic version with a maximum speed limited to 100 kilometers/hour.
For Carlos Sotelo, director of ACCIONA’s mobility division, the launch of the new Silence motorcycle represents “having a vehicle suitable for daily trips, but also for those we make in our leisure and rest times. The motorcycle does not generate noise or vibrations and is environmentally friendly.”
Silence S02
The new scooter Silence S02designed for private clients and for the sharing service that the company offers in cities such as Madrid, Barcelona, Seville or Valencia, among others, is suitable for both personal and professional use. It incorporates larger wheels that provide greater stability and safety. The brand declares a weight of 130 kilograms with batteryand has a compartment under the seat to store the helmet.
This scooter model, whose starting price is 2,800 euroswill be offered in two versions: the L1e (moped) and the L3e. They will have a maximum speed of 45 km/h and 90 km/h, respectively, with a range of 133 kilometers for the most powerful version.
Silence GT-SX Prototype
Silence is also working on the GT-SX Prototypea grand touring motorcycle prototype that will have two batteries that will provide a autonomy of more than 200 kilometers. It will be ideal for commuters commuting from metropolitan areas to large cities.
Another key feature will be its cruising speed. Thanks to a new engine, it will be able to travel on interurban roads, comfortably reaching the maximum permitted speed. Like all GT models, it is a completely faired model, offering excellent aerodynamic protection for both the pilot and passenger.
It also has a large storage space under the seat, capable of easily housing two full-face helmets. The three new models that Silence has presented at the Milan Motor Show share the same removable battery, a constant feature in all its vehicles, including the S04 nanocar, available since July in the brand’s stores and in the European Nissan network.
