After the success of the DosMares Pirineos Route, now it is the turn of the DosMares 2024, the autumn event that on this occasion will take place between October 17 and 20Four days and nights to live surrounded by Ducati passion, an event that gains more fans every year and that this year will take participants to tour part of the southern area of both Portugal and Spain.
However, before going into details, it should be remembered that although DosMares 2024 is organised by Ducati, it is an event open to any motorcycle brand, as long as the displacement is greater than 250 cubic centimetres. It is also worth remembering that it is a route in Roadbook format designed to be enjoyed both on the bike and in the places where you spend the night.
Four days and three nights enjoying DosMares 2024
As for the 2024 edition, the participants will be welcomed on 17 October at the four-star Vila Galé Alentejo Vineyards hotel starting at 5:00 pm (local time). However, the real action will begin the following morning, when the Alentejo region and its vineyards will be left behind and the Atlantic Ocean will be reached, specifically the city of Portimao, in the heart of the Algarve, covering an average of 400 kilometres.
Saturday 19 October will be a special day, as the route to follow will be 390 kilometres long. From Portimao beach, the race will head south-west towards the interior along the winding roads of the area on a day in which the culture and gastronomy of our neighbouring country will be very present.
On Sunday, October 20, DosMares 2024 will come to an end, but not before carrying out a 410-kilometer route, the longest of the entire event, which will link Portimao to Seville. The final route will take place along the border marked by the Guadiana River before reaching the final destination.
The end of the party is a dinner with a closing ceremony to put an end to a new adventure that, as always, can be done alone or with someone else. Remember that dinners are scheduled within the event, but meals are free. As for the cost of registration, they vary depending on whether you go alone or with someone else, and also on whether you prefer to sleep in a single room.
Likewise, since a roadbook is required if you rent it, the price also varies. Thus, The cost ranges from 630 euros for the cheapest version to 1,290 for the full version.
