My Crom Ride 2025: between curves, mountains and camaraderie
The CROM RIDE has consolidated as a reference motorcycle event, an unavoidable appointment that marks the beginning of summer for two -wheeled lovers. This edition has been a perfect occasion to immerse myself in the spectacular landscapes and the challenging roads of Girona, a land that is lived with a unique intensity on a motorcycle.
My mission on this occasion was double: to live the essence of the chrom ride and, at the same time, to make an exhaustive contact with the Kove 800x Pro, a trail that promises a lot in such a disputed segment.
But what has raised this experience to another level has been the company. Roll side by side with Javi Vegaan emblematic figure of the Dakar Rally, has not only been an honor, but a constant source of learning. Its rhythm, its fluidity when piloting and its human quality have turned every kilometer into a lesson and each stop at a moment of invaluable camaraderie.
The essence of the Crom Ride: a motorism festival
The chrom ride is not simply a motorcycle exit; It is a motorcycle celebration, a route designed so that the motorist can fully enjoy the province of Girona. This event, which has reached its Ninth edition With great success, he proposes a non -competitive tour of approximately 550 kilometers of incredible roads and vertigo enclaves, with more than 5,000 curves to experience.
With 650 participants, the 2025 CROM RIDE has once again deployed passion by the two wheels, offering fun and adventure on a very complete and varied route. The objective is clear: share moments on the motorcycle, either with friends or alone, meet Girona and enjoy the start of summer.
The circular route chosen for this edition has been wonderful, offering a huge variety of landscapes ranging from the capital of Girona to the mountains that separate it from the coast.
We have traveled mythical sections such as the GIV-682 between Tossa and Sant Feliu de Guíxols, enjoyed the views of the cliffs of the Costa Brava, and we have entered into landscapes as diverse as the Estany de Banyoles, the volcanic lands of the Garrotxa, hidden villages as Bet, and the high pyrene mountains in places like Vallter 20000.
The organization has arranged six control points strategically located to seal the passport and guarantee the enjoyment of each section of this spectacular province.
Kove 800x Pro: A trail that surprises and conquers
From the first moment, the Kove 800x Pro generated great expectations, and I must say that, to a large extent, it has far exceeded. In a trail segment so competitive and in a hot moment, this motorcycle is presented as a firm candidate for supervants, offering truly remarkable performance and price. Although my test has focused exclusively on asphalt, its performance and sensations have certainly left me.

It feels sharp, rises out of way to devilish and delivers a very flat power curve, pushing with a feeling of torque and power greater than its declared figures of 69.5 kW (95 hp).
It has a rabid and bad milk in good sense, but at the same time it is predictable and full throughout the range. The only exception, and is common in some motorcycles of Chinese origin, is that it has a somewhat abrupt connection with the accelerator. It feels a slight “on/off” that is surprising at the beginning. However, once the gas is open, the power delivery is linear and satisfactory.
To solve that peculiarity of the accelerator, the Kove 800x Pro offers Two driving modes: Sport and Eco. Personally, I have found the Eco mode Very usable, since it softens that first appearance of force without subtracting fun or ability to roll very light. In fact, I have preferred it on many occasions.

His presence in the Chrom Ride has excited the participants, who often approached him and meet him, to which he has always been accessible and friendly. My time with him in Girona has allowed me to learn a lot and confirm that he is a great teammate, surely for any adventure.
Currently, Javi prepares for the Baja Aragónpart of the World Cup, and will continue its training in Morocco for the Addax Rally in November, the last preparatory dunes rally for the January Dakar. His approach and ambition are an inspiration and from here we wish him all the luck in the world.

Thanks to Kove’s invitation, I have been able to enjoy precious roads in the province of Girona, I have discovered a motorcycle that has surprised me very positively, the Kove 800x Pro, and I have had the honor of sharing kilometers with the great Javi Vega.
