The electric motorcycles are finding more problems than expected to enter, in the European and Spanish European market in particular, despite the effort of the brands. There are many cases in which prejudices play against, but there is no doubt that economic incentive has to do.
And for the moment, it is not usual to find motorcycles with similar characteristics to those of combustion and with the same price. But that is here, because in India there is a motorcycle that costs less than a mobile phone of the bite apple brand.
We talk about the Rorro Ez, a motorcycle that is sold in India through Amazon and that has a price that ranges between 99,999 rupees and 129,999, which with the current change would be 986 euros and 1,281 euros.
In addition, as with many electric motorcycles in India, we are not facing a vehicle without autonomy or performance. Without being crazy, the Rorr Ez has different batteries, hence the price, LFP (lithium-cherrophosphate) of 2.6 kWh, 3.4 kWh and 4.4 kWh, which offer autonomies of 110 km, 140 km and 175 km respectively.
As if this were not enough, according to Oben, the brand that manufactures them, 80% of the load is achieved in 45 minutes and this is possible thanks to the fact that the manufacturer has developed its own technologies that include fast loaders, engines, batteries and vehicle control units.
In that process and as they have, they have made the battery twice as much life that a conventional lithium ions has a greater thermal resistance. And of the benefits? Well, the electric motor generates 5.9 kW of continuous power and 7.5 kW of peak, with a couple of 52 nm. That is, they would be cyclomotor powers if we realize.

But despite this, the peak speed is 95 kilometers per hour and has an acceleration of 0 to 40 in 3.3 seconds. A more than reasonable figure for a vehicle for primarily urban use, and more in Indian cities where traffic is absolute chaos.
But there is more and it has three driving modes to maximize the battery life depending on the use, color LED screen, geolocation, driver’s alert system, CBS braking and a guarantee that reaches up to 5 years or 75,000 kilometers. And all with a motorcycle prepared for the conditions of the Indian roads.
For now, this motorcycle is not expected to reach Europe, but what is clear is that electric motorcycles do not have to be faced although, logically, the user has much to say. Sometimes instead of looking for the practical and efficient we seek design, the latest fashion, whim … and that is paid.
