The Honda CB750 Four always looks good, even in 1/12 scale

The Honda CB750 Fourbesides being considered by many to be the first superbike in history, has also been part of the cast of different stories on and off the big screen. One of them is having been the adventure partner in the Japanese manga comic “Wild 7” work of the late writer and screenwriter Mikiya Mochizuki.

Launched in 1969, the CB750 Four was equipped with a 750 cc four-cylinder engine powered by a battery of 4 28 mm Kehin carburettors and associated with a five-speed gearbox. This was capable of offering us up to 67 HP at 8,000 rpm and 60 Nm of maximum torque at 7,000 rpm. Yet he was able to overcome the 200 km/h.

The main plot of “Wild 7” featured Hiba Dairoku, a reformed convict who worked directly for the National Police Agency of Japan as part of a special unit. Its members were individuals forced to go to prison for minor problems, former henchmen and leaders of the Yakuza, now ready to fight armed criminals and terrorists.
