MacBor continues to strengthen its range of models with frames conceived under the brand’s identifying seal: “designed in Barcelona”. To achieve this, the firm prints its own, authentic and recognizable design, also marking in this case a long-awaited return to the dynamic and competitive Street universe.
MacBor Shifter 125 EVO: dynamism and personality in abundance
The new Shifter 125 EVO was born with a clear philosophy: to offer an accessible motorcycle with character, capable of making whoever rides it enjoy, without also giving up a marked personality or equipment typical of higher categories.
A modern and sporty aesthetic contributes to this thanks to a compact and current package in which the front design, the tank with marked lines and a general image that attracts attention from the first glance stand out. All this without giving up efficient dynamism where the protagonist is undoubtedly its engine.
Engine and cycle part up to expectations
The Shifter 125 EVO is equipped with a 125 cc, 4-stroke, 4-valve single-cylinder engine, with liquid cooling and a balance shaft, designed to offer an efficient and pleasant response in any situation. This propellant develops a maximum power of 15 HP / 11 kW at 9,500 rpm and a torque of 12 Nm at 7,000 rpmfigures that allow you to enjoy agile driving both in the urban environment and on interurban journeys.
The block is combined with a system with a six-speed electronic gearbox controlled by a Bosch MSE8.0 system. With a curb weight 139 kg a seat height of 800mm and a wheelbase of 1,375mm the Shifter 125 EVO is presented as an accessible and manageable motorcycle for a wide variety of users, facilitating control and confidence from the first kilometers.
The cycle part of the new Shifter 125 EVO stands out for offering the stability, safety and ease of driving necessary in every circumstance. The front axle incorporates a 35 mm inverted fork, with 110 mm of travel, while at the rear it has a preload-adjustable monoshock.
The braking system consists of a 260 mm front petal disc with a double-piston caliper and a 240 mm rear petal disc with a single-piston caliper. Both work together with a disconnectable ABS system in two modes. Added to this set is the disconnectable TCS traction control. The equipment is assembled on a pair of alloy wheels shod with tubeless tires measuring 110/70 R17 54H at the front and 140/60 R17 63H at the rear.
Reference technology in its segment
MacBor has done the rest in the technological section, equipping the Shifter 125 EVO with an equipment worthy of larger displacement models. The model incorporates a 5-inch color TFT dashboard with Carbit Ride mirroring connectivity, which allows you to project the smartphone screen and access different functions easily while driving. This digital instrumentation is combined with Full LED lighting, reinforcing its modern and technological character.
Added to this are different elements increasingly valued by current users, such as:
- HD front camera, ideal for recording journeys while driving.
- TPMS tire pressure sensor, to monitor the status of the wheels in real time.
- USB and USB-C charging sockets, designed to keep electronic devices charged while on the go.
In summary, the Shifter 125 EVO is positioned as a motorcycle especially adapted to urban and everyday use, but also prepared to face longer journeys. Its 12.5 liter tank and balanced combination of performance, comfort and technology make it a very versatile option for everyday use.
The model is now available in four color combinations:
