The solution that is causing a stir in France and Spain

Electra, leading company in the development and installation of ultra -grape recharge points for electric vehicles in Europe, presents Electra Solara new generation of stations capable of generating and storing their own solar energy. With this pioneer initiative, the company seeks to decarbonize electric recharge, relieve pressure on electrical infrastructure and reinforce the energy sovereignty of the territories.

Electra Solar: Up to 50 % of energy autonomy per station

At a time when electrical networks show signs of saturation, as demonstrated by the blackout suffered last April, and governments demand local, effective and intelligent solutions, Electra presents its electra solar technology, based on a pioneer model at European scale that combines three points:

  • Integrated solar production: photovoltaic panels between 1,000 and 2,500 m² installed in commercial or peri -urban parking, connected directly to the load stations.
  • Storage with batteries: The excess energy is locally saved to feed the load at night or during demand peaks.
  • Intelligent management developed by Electra: an own digital platform that orchestra in real time production, storage and energy distribution.

This energy design allows each electralinera to reach up to 50 % of energy autonomy, significantly reducing the load on national networks, especially at times of high demand. System management is done thanks to the own software platform developed by Electra, which connects solar panels, batteries and recharge points in real time.

Its architecture, modular and interoperable, allows a large -scale agile display. Currently, Electra is the only European operator that offers an integrated solution that combines local solar production, intelligent storage and ultra -grape recharge, reducing from the first moment the impact on existing electrical infrastructure.

Electra Solar expansion in 2025

It is estimated that, in the next decade, the recharge of electric vehicles could represent about 8 % of European electricity consumption. Electra Solar is anticipated to this challenge by aligning with regulations such as the AGU Law, which forces to install Solar panels in parking lots of more than 1,500 m² and offers a technological response to a structural challenge, with a proposal that combines ecological acceleration and energy independence.

The company foresees a rapid deployment of the new model, giving priority to France, Spain and Italy. The first pilot stations will be installed in southern France, in the regions of Provence-Alpes-Costa Azul and Occitania. Aurélien de MeauxElectra CEO, states that:

«With Electra Solar we enter a new stage: that of a truly local recharge, clean and managed intelligently. We are laying the foundations of a resilient energy model, prepared for the industrial and climatic challenges of tomorrow.
