The history of French motorcycling adds a new chapter in its mission to keep its museum. The French motorcycling federation (FFM) has announced the integral renewal of the website of the endowment for the assets of the motorcycle sport (FDPSM), an entity created in 2018 with the aim of preserving and spreading the memory of Galo sports motorcycling.
As is obvious, this non -profit foundation recognized as of public interest was promoted during the 36th edition of the European Heritage Days. Photographs, video recordings, press items, books, competition motorcycles, equipment and trophies are some of the pieces that are part of their valuable collection.
Now, with this modernization of the portal, the initiative takes another step by becoming an interactive virtual museum and constantly evolving.
That’s right, the new website of the museum, not only presents a more intuitive and updated design, but considerably expands its contents, incorporating specific sections dedicated to:
- World Champions and historical figures of French motorcycling.
- Equipment and pilots Champions of France, including more than 2,500 pilots who have achieved national titles.
- Moto-clubs emblematic that have actively contributed to the development of sport on two wheels.
- Thematic dossiers focused on great family sagas, mythical trainers or key moments in the history of the FFM.
