1,200 HP for the definitive quad

20 years ago quads burst into our country with force. In those times, the towns on the outskirts of the big cities, not necessarily rural, were filled. Its popularity grew and there were even championships of a certain level. Later, with the arrival of the crisis, they once again became either a work or leisure tool, but at a much lower level.

What they did cease to be was an object of desire, at least in the format in which we knew it, because the quad that Viktor Engler is designing is the next level, much more than the craziest preparations we have seen. This creator has been thinking about how to make a spectacular vehicle, the fastest in the world, for more than 20 years, and in this super quad he has found a way.

Viktor, who is CEO of the company that bears his name (Engler Automotive), had no experience in the automotive sector nor the great fortune that is needed to undertake a project of this magnitude. But his quad was the way he found to do it, and all this considering that most of the people who told him about it told him that he was crazy.

And in reality they were not very wrong, because we are talking about a quad that on paper should leave any hypercar behind. It would have a V-12 engine capable of offering 1,200 HP, but it would do so with a chassis and body that would be much lighter than any of the super sports cars on the market.

The Engler is a 30quad with F1 features

In the images that we have been able to see we can see how this creation would have space for two people, and that its mix of concepts is still striking. Because thus, at first glance, we could be looking at a small sports car that in some way reminds us of the Lotus Elise, although much more “vitaminized.”

If we talk about the rest of the figures, important in this area, it must be said that only 20 units will be manufactured and that the performance is spectacular. In addition to the 1,200 HP we know that it will have a torque of 1,200 Nm, a weight of 1,200 kg, a maximum speed of 400 kilometers per hour and acceleration from 0 to 100 in 2.5 seconds.

Some chilling figures that are even more so when you think that there is no element of protection.
