A versatile and comfortable crossover with notable Offroad capabilities

SYM recently celebrated its 20 years of experience in the Spanish market by presenting the new ADXTG 400 2025a versatile crossover scooter that comes to compete with models at the level of the recently released Zontes 368G 2025 or the well-known Peugeot XP400 2023. To do this, it uses the same formula as those mentioned: Good abilities on and off the road, as well as a good commitment between comfort, versatility and driving experience once we put ourselves at the controls.

The Taiwanese brand chose the vicinity of the Greek capital, Athens, to bring together the European specialized media in the baptism test of the new ADXTG 400 2025. And the truth is that it did not disappoint anyone, thanks to its elaborate compendium between mechanics, part cycle and electronic driving aids. All this accompanied by a level of equipment at the level of what is required of a model of this type and price.

SYM ADXTG 400 2025 in detail

Starting with the engine, the ADXTG 400 2025 uses a single-cylinder mechanics of 399ccwater-cooled with four valves in the cylinder head and positioned centrally. SYM opts for this setup, moving away from the typical swingarm motor that the competition usually uses. In this way, it achieves a better weight distribution and places the center of gravity at a lower point than usual.

This engine is associated with a CVT type transmission and offers a maximum power of 35 HP at 7,000 rpm with a declared final torque of 37 Nm at 5,500 revolutions. Correct figures to move with ease 213 kilograms in running order that approves the brand, including the 13 liters of fuel that your tank can hold. On the other hand, speaking of final dimensions, the ADXTG 400 places the base of its seat at 790mm off the ground and declares a wheelbase of 1,535mm.

The assembly rests on alloy wheels shod with mixed tires measuring 120/70/15 and 150/70/14.

Braking, for its part, has one disc per axle, 275 mm at the front and 233 mm at the rear, actuated by four- and two-piston calipers respectively. The equipment is assisted by a 10.3 ABS system signed by the Germans from Bosch, and can be disconnected from the rear wheel when driving in Offroad driving. The same goes for traction control, standard on this ADXTG 400.
