It doesn’t matter who you ask. Of all the versions of the Hyundai i20, the most special is the i20N. It will also be responsible for closing the chapter of the N range with internal combustion engines, hence the brand wanted to celebrate it with the Hyundai i20 N CUPa limited edition of the last 250 units of this high-performance model.
The Hyundai i20N arrived on the Spanish market in May 2021 and since then they have sold more than 2,500 units, which demonstrates the good acceptance of this sports utility vehicle. Designed, developed and fine-tuned exhaustively at the Nürburgring. Specifically in the Hyundai Technical Center which is based on the German circuit itself, to give it special performance and sporty handling, as we saw in our test:
And what does the Hyundai i20N COPA include? Well, the numbered edition seeks to give a nod to Hyundai Motor España’s involvement in the competition. It is identified thanks to a series of anagrams, the only aesthetic differences with respect to the conventional i20N.
On each of the front wings, there are anagrams made on a brushed aluminium base, also measuring 125 x 21 mm. On the rear window, there is a vinyl commemorating the four years in which Hyundai has been the champion brand in the National Rally Championship.
The interior also includes a 65 x 16 mm brushed aluminium number plate, located on the centre console.
To further reinforce the exclusive character of the 250 units of the Hyundai i20N COPA, four exterior colours are offered: white Atlas Whitethe black one Phantom Blackthe red one Dragon Red and as it could not be otherwise, the characteristic blue Performance Blue typical of N.
