The Ducati Diavel V4 once again wins a new international award. On this occasion it has been awarded the “Red Dot: Best of the Best”. A recognition dedicated to those creations capable of setting a new standard in the reference sector and that follows the awards obtained by the 1199 Panigale, the XDiavel and the Diavel 1260.
He “Best of the Best” It comes after being named Miss EICMA 2022, or being the protagonist of the Diavel V4 Design Nights. Now with this recognition the uniqueness and brand notoriety that characterize the motorcycles designed and created in Borgo Panigale is confirmed.
“Red Dot: Best of the Best”: An award for excellence
Founded in 1955, the Red Dot Award celebrates the most original and deserving proposals for style and innovation. The award is conferred by a jury of experts in product design, communication design and design concepts, who this year have given the Diavel V4 the important title of “Red Dot Award 2024: Best of the Best”.
This award represents the latest in a series of recognized design successes at Ducati. In fact, the same award was achieved by the 1199 Panigale in 2013, by the XDiavel in 2016 and by the Diavel 1260 in 2019. Without a doubt, the Diavel V4 stands out in the current panorama of motorcycle design.
The V4 Granturismo engine is a distinctive element both for the style and for the performance offered by the Italian mount. Added to this is a daring aesthetic, enhanced by unmistakable elements, such as the shapes of its headlights, the imposing 240 mm wide five-spoke rear tire and the visible four-way exhaust.
Almost two years after its presentation, the Diavel V4 has obtained recognition from the most prestigious institutions in the field of design and the international press. Recognitions include the prestigious Good Design Award, the oldest global recognition in the design sector, and the Special Mention in the German Design Award 2024, awarded by the German Design Council.
The presentation of the Red Dot Award 2024 will take place on June 24 in Germany, at the Alto Theater in Essen. The winners will be exhibited in the Red Dot museum in Zollverein, also located in Essen and already part of the UNESCO world heritage.
