Under the blue Mediterranean sky and the unmistakable skyline of Barcelona, Zero Motorcycles held an experiential day dedicated to sustainable mobility last Wednesday, where attendees were able to experience the advantages of electric driving both on land and at sea.
During the first part of the event, participants tested the latest models of Zero Motorcycles electric motorcycles, and then enjoyed sailing aboard the electric-powered boats from Electric Inside Boatswith which they toured the waters of Barcelona while watching the Copa América regatta.
Zero Motorcycles: Diversity of models for each type of driver
The experience behind the handlebars of an electric motorcycle leaves no one indifferent. The acceleration and torque of a Zero Motorcycles is delivered forcefully and immediately. Furthermore, they do not generate polluting gases or noise in their use and have cutting-edge technological equipment, a whole array of functionalities, possibilities for customization and adaptation to the user’s needs, as well as their avant-garde connectivity options.
Attendees had the opportunity to try several iconic models of the brand, adapted to different types of license. Motorcycles like the Zero S and DS, which can be driven with the A1 or B license with more than three years of experience, were some of the favorites. In addition, for those who have the A2 license, models such as the Zero SR and DSR were presented, with the possibility of limiting their power when the owner obtains the A license.
The most performance model of the event was the SR/F, a naked with 110 HP of power, which combines high performance and an avant-garde design, capturing the attention of the most demanding, in addition to the Zero DSR/X, the electric adventure par excellence. Subsequently, after the exciting experience on two wheels, the participants continued the day aboard the Electric Inside Boats boats, setting sail from Port Olímpic.
These electric-powered boats offered a natural extension of the day, sailing without emissions and in complete silence, accentuating the contrast with the usual motorized boats. From the sea, attendees witnessed an exciting duel in the America’s Cup regatta between Ineos Britania and Luna Rosa.
